Q: What is a “fix”?
A: A fix is a small job or task that we can normally do in 30 minutes. It can pretty much be anything from an update, to modifying a setting in a theme, and maybe, even fixing PHP code!
Q: How long does a “fix” take?
A: Technically, a “fix” shall take us about 30 minutes or so to be identified and fixed, so that we can sign it off in 24 hours to honor our same-day guarantee. If, however, a fix is expected to take longer, then we call it a “Job” and inform you asap, regarding time of completion, and cost, if any.
Q: Are there limits to what constitutes a fix?
A: In general we are pretty flexible; but we will let you know if a fix is too involved for the 30-minute window, and requires instead, say, 4 slots of 30 minutes. This means that your other fixes are on hold (for 4 days) until the job is done. Of course, we will discuss with you before hand, the options of time, priorities and cost, whichever apply .
Q: Can I call you for support?
A: Yes we have a number you can call or chat with us. It’s normally better if this is pre-arranged via email.
Q: Will you support more than one WordPress install?
A: Our support packages cover a single WordPress install. You can, of course, buy another package for another website. If you have a multi-site install of WordPress then please get in touch for a custom quote.
Q: I’m going to sign up, when will you solve my problem?
A: Once we have checked all your details and gained access to your website’s admin area, we can get started. We aim to get your initial problem sorted within 24 hours of your signing up.
Q: Can we use your services white label?
A: Yes, we deal with many corporate clients through a white label agreement. Please chat with us for corporate sales.
Q: What do you mean by Add-ons?
A: An Add-on is a “job” that may require a better understanding of the problem through a chat with a technical colleague. After being discussed, if the add-on can be implemented within 30 minutes, it will be free of additional charge, otherwise a nominal charge will be quoted to complete the job.
